Rum Sidecar

The history of the Sidecar Cocktail is somewhat desputed, but it's believed to have been created in the early 1920’s as it became popular in London and Paris around this time. While a classic Sidecar recipe typically calls for brandy or cognac, this one is made with Idle Assembly Premium Aged Rum.

100ml. Contains Idle Assembly Rum, Triple Sec and lime juice. ABV 23.6%

El Presidente

The El Presidente Cocktail was created in Cuba in the early 1900s and it’s likely that it was named in honour of President Mario Garcia Menocal. It was one of Cuba’s most poular cocktails during the 1920’s when many Americans made the short trip to pre-revolutionary Cuba to escape prohibition.

100ml. Contains Idle Assembly Rum, Dry Vermouth and Orange Curacao. ABV 26.2%

Idle Daiquiri

In the late 1800’s American engineer Jennings Cox was in Daiquiri Cuba overseeing mining operations. One hot day running low on gin, he mixed local rum with lime juice and sugar to create a refreshing drink. This blend became known as the Daiquiri Cocktail.
